Youth Led. Youth Driven.

The d-RAP Youth Council is a youth led, youth driven group dedicated to improving and enhancing the health and well-being of Denver teens and the people who love them.

Come together for healthier, safer choices.

Our goal is to help you get together with other kids who also want to improve their schools and communities by organizing events, running campaigns, and providing resources. One of our main focuses is on reducing or eliminating alcohol and drug abuse from our schools. As a member of the Council you’ll lead the way in examining how these issues affect your community, and in coming up with creative messages and fun events to educate your friends, classmates and neighbors about them.

We meet at least once a month as a Council, when and where we decide as a group. During busy times of the year, we may meet more often, depending on how involved you choose to become.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll work on as a d-RAP Youth Council Member

  • Developing personal and community leadership skills
  • Identifying changes you’d like to make in your community
  • Coming up with effective strategies to make those changes
  • Meeting and hanging out with like-minded peers and adults
  • Finding your unique voice
  • Enhancing your resume
  • Having fun and being creative
